1. What book would you most like to see adapted to film or TV?
I can't really think of anything that hasn't been already, to be honest... although I'm looking forward a lot to Game of Thrones if that counts.
It does, I suppose.
2. What would you least like to see (things that haven't yet been adapted)?
This one on the other hand is easy. The Silmarillion. In a "they mustn't ever do it" way, that is, not in the "I wouldn't watch it if they made it" way.
Even though I've not read it (being not very dedicated to Tolkien fandom), I know that you are correct.
Do you prefer to see plays on the stage or on film?
Stage, though I haven't seen many these past years, there was a time I saw way more plays...
I love watching plays. I need to do it more.

I highly recommend the Merchant of Venice (2004) directed by Michael Radford

I do sometimes. Mostly with thrillers or the like.

Luhrman largely stuck to Shakespeare's dialogue, though... and that worked amazingly well imho. *NM*
