Can they bring Humphrey Bogart back? snoopcester Send a noteboard - 04/06/2010 12:01:51 AM
1. What book would you most like to see adapted to film or TV?

If they can bring him back, the Aberystwyth novels - they need to be filmed in black and white with a cast from a 1940s film noir cast.

2. What would you least like to see (things that haven't yet been adapted)?

Blonde Bombshell, it would ruin the book before I have read it

Slightly related:

Do you prefer to see plays on the stage or on film? (I mean film versions of the plays, not stage performances that have been filmed.)

Depends how good the play is

Robert Graves "There is no money in poetry, but then there is no poetry in money, either."

Henning Mankell "We must defend the open society, because if we start locking our doors, if we let fear decide, the person who committed the act of terror will win"

Luhrman largely stuck to Shakespeare's dialogue, though... and that worked amazingly well imho. *NM* Legolas - 05/06/2010 04:25:08 PM 496 Views
