It's why I took so long to read The Gone-Away World. I like to be able to make up my own mind so prefer to do that in ... peace, I guess.

And I like to discover the lesser-known books. That's fun.


mm reading in peace...yes that's a lovely way of putting it :D do you ever find yourself disappointed by classics though? Mostly I imagine that they're classics for a reason so that doesn't affect me how hype for new stuff does, but I then have possibly too high expectations of the book and come out a bit dissatisfied. Apart from Jane Austen. I love Jane Austen.
