I've noticed several on my read through, also. j-whitt987 Send a noteboard - 07/09/2010 03:34:13 PM
The book was fantastic but it had some jarring editing errors. This has to be the worst edited book I have ever read. For instance, one sentence started "Dalinar He..." Now this mistake is totally understandable. Sanderson had already established that it was Dalinar earlier in the paragraph. So he must have just forget to delete Dalinar at the beginning of the sentence. But to not catch it while editing? Insane! Who was proofreading this book? There are way too many errors like this that just totally took me out of the story. It's bizarre really.

Which speaks about how many there really are. I rarely see more than one or two per book I read. Usually it's on my second or third time through the book. I noticed several and actually reread the last few sentences to make sure I hadn't just misread it. Kinda annoying, but nothing that made me stop and scratch my head about.
Kirk: Spock, you want to know something? Everybody’s human.
Spock: I find that remark…insulting.
