Oh, I think I could get up to a half-dozen or more on the OF Blog for ya Larry Send a noteboard - 10/09/2010 03:12:50 PM
By the way, since technically 2010 is the end of the first decade of the third millennium AD/CE, would you be willing to do a revote for books of that decade? I think that might get a few more nominations/votes. I'd be willing to help promote it elsewhere, if you'd like, if you were to decide to do this.

The word "revote" kind of suggests an add-on to these awards, which doesn't seem like the best idea considering the voting turnout. :P But it's not a bad idea to do awards for the decade somewhere in November or December, if we make sure we have good nominations and some interest from outside the site.

I meant just another round of voting, this time for more than the past year. That way, no one could claim that they had "no time" to read any books in the time span; it would pretty much call out the slackers and make them vote or at least admit that they care shit all for anything ;)

November would work for nominations and leaving it up for over a week might help, at least for drawing outside support. December for voting just before some breaks might get the students at first, vacationing families later.
