...that were absolutely incredible, and had people dying for more, and then decided he was done, that'd be fair. Same thing if he wrote and finished a trilogy.

But there is an agreement here. He started a series, there's an expectation he'll finish it. He does owe his fans something. At the very least, an article or blog post clearly explaining why he's having a hard time, or why he thinks it won't happen.


I've read his books, and they were good, but not great. I doubt I'll ever finish the series. But even I'm getting annoyed with him for the delay.
