I love the train ride. I kind of forget how eventful these rides can be. I love how (as everyone has said) Harry is no longer "stuck with" Neville and Luna but reassures them that they are deserving of the attention as well. I'm disappointed in Neville's grandmother. She was proud and bought Neville a new wand, sure, but still going off on how awesome Harry is to Neville is so not cool.

Romilda is obnoxious. I know she's supposed to be, but I still think someone needs to punch her in the nose.

McLaggen sure shows up out of nowhere, doesn't he? I love how Ginny is there for breaking the rules. That endears Slughorn to me.

I also adore McGonagall with the schedules. Especially with Neville. When she tells him not only that his grandmother should be proud of the grandson she has, not the one she thinks she should have and then tells him his grandmother failed her Charms OWL she is awesome.

I love how worked up Hermione gets about the Potions book and how she loathes "the Prince" because he makes Harry better. Harry is also paying more attention in Potions than he has...I wonder if he'd still be pretty good at Potions without the book now that Slughorn is teaching instead?
