Re: I got my books today. Camilla Send a noteboard - 23/11/2010 10:33:10 AM
Well, I got two of them, with two more following later. I have to say that the outside is nice (but only acceptably so), but the paper inside is hideously thin. I've gotten tissue accompanying wedding invitations thicker than the pages in these editions. The cost is appalling given the quality of the product. Folio Society books are much nicer and similarly priced.

Follow the link if you have any questions.

I don't agree that thin paper is a sign of poor quality. Quite the contrary.

That's a very interesting article. Though it does sound like he'd never be happy. Legolas - 18/11/2010 08:06:09 PM 874 Views
That was a long article. Rebekah - 19/11/2010 07:05:12 PM 789 Views

Regardless, if Pleiade is the best France has to offer, their book industry is awful. Tom - 23/11/2010 07:17:13 PM 1056 Views
Let me guess... Larry - 23/11/2010 07:46:41 PM 752 Views
No. I don't think he's been released in a Pleiade edition. Tom - 23/11/2010 07:49:05 PM 775 Views
