I'm considering getting a Kindle when I file my tax returns in 2011. I have two questions:

(1) How easy is the Kindle to read in low light? If I'm a passenger on a road trip and the light is fading and/or inconsistent I'm going to want something that I can read pretty easily.


yeah, it's even easier with the newer one.

(2) Is it worth the extra money to get the $189 one instead of the $139 one?


no? unless you accidentally delete your books while on the road routinely, you should be fine.
