Delirium of the Endless orders chocolate people for dinner, and brings them to life for her amusement. In the last panel of the scene they are melting as she walks away from the table, with the following caption:

Touched by her fingers, the two surviving chocolate people copulate desperately, losing themselves in a melting frenzy of lust, spending the last of their brief borrowed lives in a spasm of raspberry cream and fear.
Vigilantibus non dormientibus jura subveniunt.
