I dunno, of course, since i am not you... I like robin hobb's animal perspectives very much. She is awesome at creating very relatable characters. I have a great deal of empathy for animals and people, especially when well written. I definitely have had trouble with authors having poorly written characters or characters that are just such total assholes that I can't empathize.
