I got a book of short stories by Stephen King. They were wonderful but I never got around to finishing it. Not because I wasn't interested in them but because short stories are not really my thing. I wanted to start on that series but never did because i just got sidetracked with other books.

I think it's worth it to at least get the first book and see how you like it. Worst case scenario, you're out 12 bucks (from new on amazon) and you've added another book to your bookshelf.
