..also called "In the Mother's Land" - that one I like best of what I've read of hers so far.
Dreams of the Sea was weird, wasn't it? She sets up interesting mysteries, but the resolutions are very slow in coming. (Not in the first 2 books, which is all that's been translated into English so far.)
