... to add to the pile I am yet to finish from May. I did manage to finish a couple of books, but they were random pick-ups while waiting about and generally easy reads.
"Pay It Forward" by Catherine Ryan Hyde: Such a beautiful yet almost too simplistic a tale. I am glad that I have not made acquaintance with the movie as I believe my inner cynic would not have swallowed the tale via that format. I found it difficult enough to read and allow the flaws to pass me by, even when my imagination was allowed long rein to simply enjoy the tale.
I also picked up 'Raising Boys' which I finished in under an hour. Nothing startling in it for me, which I choose to see as proof that I am an astoundingly astute mother.
All work, little read makes Paula very dull indeed.
