I am constructing a course on Dickens, and so started wondering what I could expect people to have read. I would therefore be very happy if you could reply even if you haven't read anything.

Have you read any Dickens?

We read Oliver Twist in high school.

A Christmas Carol, Great Expectations, David Copperfield, A Tale of Two Cities, The Pickwick Papers

Why have you not read them?

I didn't enjoy Oliver Twist that much.

Verbose Victorian. Mildly funny if you can dredge through the wordiness. PLEASE SIR, CAN I HAVE SOME MORE???

Have you seen any film/series versions of Dickens' novels?

I watched part of a terrible Oliver Twist movie once before turning it off. Also, I have seen the musical Oliver! And the A Tale of Two Cities Wishbone episode.
