Do you remember what it was about?
i don't really... it may have been oliver twist, though.
Why did you stop after the first page of Tale of Two Cities?
there was nothing that touched me personally about it. at that time i hated my english teacher. he had just tried to have us read moby dick. i got halfway through that. and seriously, i love reading. just not those books at that time... it could have had more to do with the fact that i was a teenager going through all the emotional and hormonal changes a teenager goes through than anything about those books. i loved (*loved!

I see I should have phrased the question more clearly. Which ones have you heard of?
i suppose the main ones, great expectations, tale of two ciies, oliver twist.
How do you know?
i don't - it's only an assumption, and i might be totally wrong. no one has attempted to convince me otherwise. things get impressed upon a person really strongly when they're a teenager, too.
i didn't realize a christmas carol was dickens. i have read that and seen the older film adaptation along with the bill murray film. i love bill murray, so that was all right. i think i may have read the book, but am not sure.
"it's like the real world, except there's dragons!"
