I am flabbergasted.
Seriously, they are all, except for the two angels, who have potential, pretty straightforward. Good Omens is brilliant writing that is dedicated to plot, theme, and fun. But it is rather light reading if you want, like, subtlety or some such other thing.
I'll take Aziraphale over Emma Bovary any day.
