if I'm reading a for-fun reading book (like WoT), I usually get pretty immersed in what I'm reading. Withdrawing from an extended reading session is enough of a process for me without being jarred from it.

When I'm interrupted from reading, it's pretty similar to someone jumping in front of me when I'm watching a movie and starting to babble at me. So I find it pretty damned rude.
