I saw an interview with Eco recently Camilla Send a noteboard - 30/11/2011 12:41:04 PM
Where he held this up as his "easy read" book. He said he had been criticised for being too erudite and people had said that he would sell more if he wrote easier books; then he had written Loana, which was an easy read, and it had sold less than any of the others.

I really liked this book. It feels very whole.
