Okay so this really isn't my style, no dragons or battles. still though, it was good. She has an interesting writing style my mother does. Everyone. Buy lots and lots of copies! You know...only 12 months till Christmas! Start shopping early!

I was gonna say, huh, your mom is a fantasy writer? But turns out that by "no dragons or battles" you didn't merely mean a different kind of fantasy, but not speculative fiction at all. :P But the description (on Random House's website) doesn't sound half bad. And having a mother who's a successful novelist is pretty cool either way, I should think... well, except if her books would be really embarrassing, I guess. ;)
