As for sexism in literature, art, film, television, etc. - it's not really something that I go looking for. If it's blatant I probably notice it, but latent sexism really escapes notice because it's not something I really pay attention to, being a guy.

I support feminism to the extent that it's about freedom of choices but not when it gets into all this "phallocracy" crap, or "womyn" or "all sex acts are rape". In other words, I don't think sexism is a good thing, but my definition is probably different from some other peoples'.


I don't "go look for it," either, but when it's being discussed by several on my Twitter timeline, I find it to be an interesting topic. None of the people I've talked with have used those terminologies; it's more about subconscious systems than active participation.
