And I agree the book sucked, by the way, I could go on and on about how horrible it was in the same manner as you, and happily. I've done it before. And, people tend to be very glad to discuss Erikson on the board. But the thing is, your post was really fucking stupid. The book did suck, but you focused on one superficial and incorrrect problem with it that is easily explained away rather than addressing the book as a whole, and you did it with spelling errors and all caps. What do you expect? You came of as an idiot. I doubt you are, but just the same.

For the record, Krul being female is explained by the fact that Krul as a deity transcends gender and took on a female aspect. It was a bit unprecedented, if I recall the series correctly, but it's not terribly bizarre given Erikson's fecund cosmology, it suggests an additional level of depth to his universe. Esslemont is not illiterate, or a moron, and he helped build that world, with those gods, and those rules along with Erikson, in equal part. He did not make a mistake. You did reading it. The book sucks, though, true.
