Not right in this second, of course, but what's your current book?

I'm reading a murder mystery by Tami Hoag (Deeper than the Dead. I've not read any of her books before, but thanks to the wonders of the public library I get to be adventurous. I like it so far.

Sorry I've been a little absent of late. My brain had gone into hibernation for awhile. My parents have been visiting, and they head off to the Continent on Monday, so I hope to have a review or two for you in the next couple of weeks. One of those will be about the new Scarlett Thomas book, Monkeys with Typewriters. It's a nonfiction book about creative writing and how to read and write it better. Should be interesting. The release date is 13 September.

Been an interesting series so far. Quite different from my usual reading choices.
Kirk: Spock, you want to know something? Everybody’s human.
Spock: I find that remark…insulting.
