Until I ran out of space.

I keep the same types together. That's not genre-filing exactly, but more like reference-y types together, classic types together, modern types together, sci-fi/fantasy/non-normal stuff/etc together.

edit: with each section alphabetical and sets by author in chronological order.


How do you handle transitions between types?

The idea is that they flow from one section to the next. Sometimes almost jarringly so (ie, I have biblical/qur'an together and fading into questions about religion/science fading into pure science). If the types are too different, they go on a different section of the shelf.:P
