My primary problem will be the 3 and 2 year old that live with me. What with traveling to visit family for various Christmas parties and being at home with the kids for the rest of the time over the next several weeks, I just don't see how much time/energy I'll have for reading.
Nate is just now old enough to really get excited about Christmas for the first time. He is practically bouncing off the walls already. They both leave me exhausted after they go to bed.

No, but I don't have a lot of time for reading. So I have to make choices.

I could go for reading Feist again. It has been so many years since my husband got me to try it.

Just to be clear, does Magician refer to vol 1 or both?

Well, to be accurate, MAGICIAN is only really 1 book. It was split into two volumes for a printing.

I bought it as a single volume back in 96, I believe.

Well, the one I have in two volumes has the same "preferred edition" label, too.

That refers to the content... Feist put out a "director's cut"

That is the version I read. At the time I couldn't imagine what they would have edited out of it

I have no interest in the first choice but will be pulling Dumas off the shelf shortly.
