You know what I didn't like about Abercrombie's First Law Trilogy? The very same thing that made it great. I loved that it was so un-traditional, that the good people didn't always win.

...but the good people never won. I can't think of anyone who got anything good out of it, except maybe Glokta, who lost all coolness for me when he disemboweled that innocent dude. And Bayaz, who turned out not to be cool after all.
