My thoughts Rebekah Send a noteboard - 18/01/2010 05:33:08 PM
Who is your favourite character?

Arutha. Ever and always. He's probably my favourite fantasy character. I love him tres much. I like that he's not the typical prince - he's not Lyam, in other words. I like his bad moods, I like his kind heart, I like his responsibility, and I like that he is confused by women - well, one woman in particular. And I really like how he grows throughout the rest of the books.

Did you dislike any of them?

Carline. I don't think Feist really knew how to write women. (And I can' remember if he learned how to later on.) She's just annoying and such a cardboard-cutout character.

Do you think they're well written?

Some of 'em. The elves and dwarves just seem like fillers, though. They've none of them got personality.

Does anyone seem particularly believable, or particularly unbelievable?

Arutha's pretty believable, IMO. Macros is a lovely example of unbelievable, but I'm pretty sure he's meant to be. ;)
