I wonder this every time I read it - although I've only ever read the Author's preferred text. Maybe I should try to get my hands on the orginally-published version.

Sometimes it drags, but when I try to work out what could go I draw a blank.

What do you think?


The first time I read it, I thought that it didn't need anything edited. This time, there were a couple of parts that dragged.

Overall- I had a much less difficult time sitting down and reading it without breaks or my attention wandering than I do with many books.

Considering the period of time that the book(s) covered I thought they did a decent job of editing it.
