I used to be in love with her when I read it in the 9th grade. I loved how Pug was always fumbling around her, but in a more realistic way than Rand would be around Egwene.

Maybe it's a girl thing. :P

I do agree that it's more realistic than Rand & Egwene, but that's not difficult.

Arutha was indeed monumental in this book. Well the whole Seige of Crydee gave the feeling of desperation by both sides.

Oh, yes. One of my favourite parts in the book.

But my fav is Tomas. Or Ashen Shugar really. I feel Feist succesfully explored the 'alienness' of the Valheru. In retrospect it reminds me of the slake-moths from Street Station, though not as weird.

He did do a good job with that. Even more so in later books. ;)
