Empire trilogy is awesome imlad Send a noteboard - 24/01/2010 09:57:39 PM
But I don't know how it will read for someone who hasn;t already read the Riftwar stuff Feist wrote on his own. Anyone read it that way?

My wife is looking for a fantasy series to read - she liked Mistborn but didn't like Elantris, and she loved Martin but can't stand Jordan. Any suggestions?

Or else one of a few by Guy Gavriel Kay. I don't really like The Fionavar Tapestry, which is the only series I'm aware of by him. However, some of his stand-alones are fantastic, particularly The Lions of Al-Rassan, A Song for Arbonne and Tigana. Dan is reading Last Light of the Sun and apparently it's not as good as the others.

Death to the Regressives of the GOP and the TeaParty. No mercy for Conservatives. Burn them all at the stake for the hateful satanists they are.
