I would say the Tad Williams stuff.

Are you familiar with Stephen R. Donaldson's "Thomas Covenant" books? Think she might go for those?

And, I can't believe anyone hasn't asked this: has she read the granddaddy of fantasy? The Lord of the Rings!!

Assuming she liked the realism and maturity of Martin, which of those books do you think is the best?
