The only book better than it was Warbreaker by Brandon Sanderson.
However, this book beats out Mistborn and many Terry Pratchett books, as well as Good Omens.

But, keep in mind I am midway through the Well of Ascension which may be better, and I've heard godly things about Hero of Ages so we'll see.

I'd give the book a 8/10. The climax sucked and the story lulled in the middle. I also felt the 1st person was a downside because Kvothe was so frustratingly stupid, granted he was only like 12. Overall I enjoyed it though, and that's all that counts
