I think that I have American Gods in my stack of books to read. I did read Clarke's book. I haven't heard of the others. I will have to watch for them now.

As for books that "touched" me - well, that would be a very specific criterion, by my definition. I'm not really quite sure how I would go about answering that.

But, perhaps it would help to tell you some books that I never seem to tire of reading? If so, I've got a bit of a list I could give you...
