Keats spent most of the book pondering the meaning of life. Which is a fair pursuit, I suppose, for a character whose purpose is "plot device". The only reason he was there is so Simmons would have some excuse for Gladstone to know what was happening on Hyperion. lol

So no, Keats did not impress me.
