I mean, it has MORE impact when people who are actually in the army protest it. I think DADT is idiotic, but I'm a random guy from Long Island- it's not like I have first-hand knowledge.

Yes, technically it's a "political" issue, but I'm more likely to respect them for standing up for their views then to damn them for obeying some regulation.
