Except in localized areas, English will remain dominant over Spanish (in the US). Even in our "Hispanic area" next city over, people working there speak English perfectly fine (even if they have an accent).
I simply have not seen a big enough influence of Hispanic language or culture to justify the extreme reaction it gets. People are just unnecessarily afraid. Every wave of immigrants that come into the US receives this reaction and every time it proves to be unfounded.
