Rumour has it one of the 1st changes made will be the formation of a fixed term of parliament, which by it's very nature will lock the parties together and force co-operation. Without this we will be back at the polls within 12months.
The fixed term of Parliament will be a feature of the pact, but I don't think it would be a new rule of goverment that would be enforceable forevermore. The Tories could still go back on it (which would be a bad idea) if they thought they could get away with it.
Otherwise, the LibDems and Tories seem to have found common ground based on economic policy, taxation and education, and tabled Trident for now. Europe and immigration are likely to be the biggest landmines that could blow up this agreement, but with the Lisbon Treaty out of the way Europe might be lower on the agenda and they can fudge around it for a while.
If the fixed term is four or five years though, I can't see how they can avoid a huge clash over Europe at some point.
