1. Did you vote for President Obama? Sadly, local bureaucracy effed up my registration. But I would have.
2. Do you feel he is knowledgeable about foreign relations? I feel good about his foreign relations so far, but to be fair his ability to speak intelligently and point to the countries he is visiting on a globe may be blinding me with euphoria.
3. Are you happy with the way he is handling the "War" that isn't a war in the Iraq and Afghanistan? No, but honestly I can't see that I would like any of his options, either. This is a nasty no win scenario.
4. Do you feel he has helped or hindered the US's image in the world? Why/How? Can't speak for the rest of the world, but all the image bashing that Terrorist-friendly regimes have sent after him have to be a good sign, right?
5. How do you feel he's handled the BP oil spill situation? Again, I am not happy, but I honestly don't know what he could do differently short of shutting down the wells. There was some talk about him calling the coast guard to "deal with it". If it turns out that the military has possessed the tech to shut down the leak all along, then he gets a firm no vote from me on this one. Otherwise, what is he supposed to do, other than give aid to recovery, which he has done?
6. Do you feel like he has lived up to the hype of his campaign? I don't think any President has lived up to the hype of their campaign. That said, he is working on hard on delivering his promises.
7. What do you feel he has done "right" as the President? Most of his programs are still too soon to call. I liked cash for clunkers, though.
8. What do you feel he has completely missed the mark on as president? Same as above. Too soon to canonize or anathematize him.
9. Do you believe that we'd be in a full fledged depression if he hadn't pushed through those bail-out and stimulus packages? If no, why not? I haven't the foggiest. Not an economist. All I know is that we are on a slow upward climb, which beats free-fall.
10. If you answered YES to #1, and the election were in November, would you vote for Obama again? I assume that I would, though if the GOP could offer someone with a plan outside the current "Party of Hell No" line, I would give them a chance to win my vote. Right now, though, they are entirely too bought into the "You hate him, so vote for us!" Mentality. Like Kerry who ran as the anti-Bush, I fully expect the GOP to giftwrap the next election for the Dems.

His colossal failure as a President reinforces my opinion that Palin would be worse.
