I've got my hands full with that Angelina Jolie thread. Something I expected to post, respond to a few responses and forget about within a few hours. Some days this place reminds me of the world of pop banality from which I used to find relief at... a site that doesn't exist anymore.

I won't say a polyamorous relationship CAN'T work, but I do think it adds a great deal more stress to something that was always an iffy proposition at best. In the final analysis I think we'd agree that what one desires is often less important than what one does about those desires (though we'd might differ strongly on the ramifications of that. ) Self control doesn't necessarily mean asceticism, but hedonism isn't necessarily liberation either; sometimes it's just a more subtle prison of ones own making. And we might agree on something else: If a guy can't find a woman who seizes and holds his interest, he should keep moving until he does. After all, how much better are a half dozen disappointing women than one?
