Cause I was reading through this, and I was wondering if that was the case? Are the majority of churches where you live like this? Teach in "high minded" ways, where not everyone gets it? Where its more about a rally rather than anything else?

Because my church certainly isn't like this. I can't honestly remember the last time my pastor used the KJV of the Bible. I can't remember the last time he preached about those statistically less than 2% sins. Instead, he preaches about being right with God (both saved & unsaved alike). He doesn't preach the "hell fire & brimstone" sermons.

As a matter of fact, my pastor just finished a series on King David and some lessons learned there. And he's launching into a series on Christian Life. He did the intro to the series last week (setting the stage as it were). This next week's sermon is about fear. Whether its fear of the future, or fears carried over from the past...
