This whole thing has been handled disgracefully Sidious Send a noteboard - 12/09/2009 12:37:35 PM

I feel so sorry for this poor woman and how she's been humiliated. Yesterday she pulled out of a long distance event which I attended, so I couldn't see her, citing that all the publicity had ruined her confidence and made it difficult to compete.

This really should have been fully addressed by the IAAF prior to her winning her race. Now the whole world knows what type of genitals she's got. The humiliation must be terrible. She is extremely masculine and I can't believe she ever passed for a woman - but the fact that no one addressed this appropriately is an outrage.

How could she not know something was different? Not developing a period would be a major sign. *NM* - 11/09/2009 09:21:54 PM 315 Views
Not necessarily, depending on the rigors of her athletic training. *NM* - 11/09/2009 09:26:32 PM 294 Views
