Never had a problem with them, components are good quality and you can make it as cheap or as expensive as you like. Just do a little research on the particular parts in the prebuilt machine you're buying; cheaper ones tend to have older models of processor and graphics card.

As for a HD TV as primary monitor, I'm not a fan of that because of the slower refresh rates of TVs, but then I'm a gamer and that kind of thing is important to me. If it isn't to you, you'll probably be fine.
