I couldn't help remembering this story when I read your thread. Let's be very clear: What got this man in trouble was not the fact that his sister was below the age of consent, because he was, too. What's branded him a sex offender for life and reduced a man who would be making millions as a starting NFL tackle to taking whatever he can get is the fact that it was his sister. Yeah, that's pretty nauseating to me and I certainly don't condone it, but I don't think he should be punished for it for the rest of his life (it's also kind of pathetic that he's a felon and his sister has no record, even though she had sex with her minor sibling as surely as he did).
