Calling Ireland the new Sodom and Gomorrah, are you?

Since I like language-learning, I tell you what: find 15 people at this site (you can count me) who are serious about learning Irish and I will study it intensely along with you.
I am certainly interested in learning Irish, and it's not even THAT far down the list of priorities in language learning, but far enough that I doubt I'll get around to it any time soon.
Seriously. I will do it. But only if there are 15 people. Fifteen righteous people to save a language.

Yeah, I doubt I'm going to get to fifteen.
Or at least to fifteen who are willing to make serious efforts in that direction in the near future. We've only got four Irish people here (and one American residing in Ireland) that I can think of off the top of my head, then there's a few others who would be interested in learning it - Angie, for one - but fifteen, no.
So the Irish government has basically imploded.
