I think it depends on the level of the class and the major of students in said class. Avendesora Send a noteboard - 09/03/2011 12:56:08 PM
Thoughts?

If the Course was a gen Ed requirement 101 sort of class, then inappropriate. If it was a 300 or 400 level class for students that need to know this info, fine.

Am I the only one whose creep radar went off every time the professor was quoted? I don't know what he looks like, so that isn't influencing my opinion. What he said made me feel like (and this is just the gut feeling I had), he was taking advantage of the students fetish. And I wonder if any shocked reactions were pleasing to him as well. I can't put a finger on it, but that's the first thing I thought. I know I may be wrong about this, but the guy gives me the heebie-jeebies.

I believe all news and research that supports my opinion, and dismiss the rest as conspiracy and lies.
