as others have mentioned, it was very gentle. also i don't think you are a snob with respect to books. can't say anything about your snobbery in other areas of life.
let's see. yes. didn't last.
yes.
yes yes it does.
well, we go out on dates from time to time. keep the romance alive.
go to events like concerts and book readings, author signings etc. okcupid is the only site where i've met cool folks, that and here. about half the okcupid people i met were worth meeting and keeping in touch with, but i haven't really bothered. the folks i've met here who i've met in real life are people who are still my close friends. i met my fiance in a real life situation, but i could as easily have stayed in my relationship with a wotmaniac if we had moved to the same state. *shrug* let life happen. don't try too hard. when you stop looking it'll catch up to you.
1. Have you ever dated someone who doesn't read?
let's see. yes. didn't last.
2. Is reading important enough to you that you wouldn't date someone because they didn't read?
yes.
3. Do you think music is fundamental enough to your life that it would factor into who you dated?
yes yes it does.
4. Have you been on any dates lately?
well, we go out on dates from time to time. keep the romance alive.
5. Where would you suggest a book lover find... a lover?

Being picky about books is very different from insisting that there be some books.

I thought you handled it rather well. Looking for someone compatible does not make you a snob.
