No, you just have different priorities than him. I think the book thing is a silly reason to turn someone down (after all, he may have many other good qualities that would balance out his lack of interest in reading), but books aren't as big a part of my life, so that's probably why. I can understand it being different for different people.

1. Have you ever dated someone who doesn't read?


Nah. They usually read more than I do, actually :P

2. Is reading important enough to you that you wouldn't date someone because they didn't read?

Nope. I enjoy reading and talking about the books, but I can do that online if my boyfriend isn't into reading.

3. Do you think music is fundamental enough to your life that it would factor into who you dated?

Maybe...if they liked music I really hated and had to blast it 24/7. But otherwise, I could put up with it.

4. Have you been on any dates lately?


Nah. I'm taking a break from love to get myself back on track.

5. Where would you suggest a book lover find... a lover?


Can't you specify that you're looking for a book lover on the online dating site? That's what I'd do, if possible.
