A rough approximation is the best I can manage because, however precisely (or accurately) the soul may be defined, the definition is still rather vague for me. Bearing that in mind, I believe our bodies physical filters and interfaces for nonphysical being, and that's the personality I have in mind when I use that term. The very fact that experiences continually reshape perspective demonstrates how indirectly and incompletely behavior and attitudes reflect our ultimate personality. To use yet another analogy, if I place green film between white light and your eye you will only see the green part of the white light you previously saw. The light, however, has remained constant; only your perception of it has changed.
