But the idea of a laser on my eyes scares me more than that hypothetical scenario, I think.

I have a friend who had laser surgery a few years ago. She said it wasn't the lasers that scared her, it was the needle that they had to stick in her eye first. Watching it approach slowly would be more than a little unnerving.


but I had laser surgery and there was no needle involved in mine.


A non-needle option would be preferable. Was there any cutting involved?


There is a needle involved with that, my grandma had it and my mom saw them give her the shot in eye. I've never heard about a needle involved in LASEK.
