I have wonderful night vision, to the extent that I can see relatively well in the dark without my glasses. I feel a little uncomfortable about that thought.

My pupils are 1mm larger than average (normal is 6 mm). This means I'll need to get special treatment at the edge of the area where my pupils are. But will potentially get the halo effect.

I don't have a car, so I don't drive at night frequently. But obviously I'll have to drive at night at some point in my life. However, I know quite a few people who've had eye surgery, who are fine driving in the dark.


It's hard for me to drive at night when it's raining. It makes the halos worse. I'm just extra careful. Also, things at night seem a bit darker than they used to. Shadows sometimes throw me off, like on the highway, I think I'm coming up to an overpass, but really it's just a shadow over the road. It's weird. But not bad enough to stop me from driving at night.


Yeah, that's a good way of describing it. The shadows seem funny sometimes. The same thing with the parking lot entrances and taking turns into them like I mentioned in my other post. It is like I see them later or something now. It isn't bad enough to cause accidents or anything, I just have adjusted my night driving.
But wine was the great assassin of both tradition and propriety...
